Invest in Urban Infrastructure

Our ward is made up of some of Winnipeg’s oldest and most historic neighbourhoods. The character of these neighbourhoods is why we choose to live here. We know that infrastructure in our urban neighbourhoods is aging and in need of upgrades. Preventative maintenance and upkeep don’t always attract a lot of attention, but it’s always more expensive to fix something once it’s broken than it is to maintain it.

With your support I will:

• Work to upgrade our pipes so they don’t leak raw sewage into our rivers.

• Work to ensure that our aging roads here in the heart of the city are taken care of before investing in road widening projects.

• Advocate for continued investment in parks and active transportation infrastructure.
