Campaign Priorities

Housing

It’s no secret that our city needs more housing that people can afford.

We need everything from deeply affordable housing for vulnerable populations, to aspirational starter homes for young families.

More construction means more local jobs, and sourcing local materials helps Canadian companies.

Public Safety

I will support successful community outreach and rehab programs that are doing good work and need help scaling.

No single level of government has the resources and jurisdiction to solve these problems.

We call for an all-hands Municipal-Provincial-Federal working group to meaningfully address these pressing issues.

Infrastructure

Our beautiful older neighbourhoods need ongoing investment on both the capital and operating sides.

Whether its bad roads, aging sewer systems, or a lack of maintenance in our parks, our character neighbourhoods need work now.

Making proactive investments in our infrastructure, like wastewater and transit, results in lower costs down the line.
